DJ SO HYPE

Derrick Reeves (born January 31, 1989), publicly known as DJ So Hype, is a household name in Las Vegas, NV. He is best know on the West Coast for playing any genre of music such as: House, Dub Step, EDM, Hip Hop, Top 40, Old-School, 70's, 80's, 90's, Party Jams, Electra, R & B, Dance Hall, Reggaeton & Videos.

DJ SO HYPE at age 23 is  Las Vegas most sought after and hottest DJ's. So Hype has a very creative style that is unlike any other DJ in Vegas. His career as a DJ started at the young age of 14 years old and has a successful career as a touring DJ, Host & Party Innovator. So Hype has a great fan base and keeps himself busy traveling across the country performing over 100 gigs per year.

DJ SO HYPE won the 2011 DJ BATTLE AT McFadden's located in the RIO HOTEL in Las Vegas, NV. He also won "DJ of the Year" for 2011 from the City of Las Vegas.

DJ So Hype has shared the stage with some of the world's best known artists and DJ's. He holds a weekly residency at SEDONA in Las Vegas, creating room for his multiple weekly residencies in some of sin city's hottest venues. He is also an official DJ for the City of Las Vegas and The After School All Stars.

DJ So Hype residencies and guest DJ has included The V-Bar, The Mix Lounge, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, The Gold Lounge, Revolution, Koi Night Club, Brand Ultra Lounge, Hard Rock Hotel & Cafe, Rehab Pool, Poetry Nightclub, all in addition to his corporate accounts at Nationally recognized brand stores "Sean John, Nike, Metro Park". So Hype recently was honored to DJ at the National Bar Association in Vegas.  DJ So Hype worked with the #1 Radio Station Hot 97.5 in Las Vegas for 4 years and started out as their youngest DJ. He continues to rock crowds Nationwide.
